The IMM facilities highlight the institute´s spirit of shared resources both inside the IMM community and outside. The aim is to provide IMM researchers and other partners a series of services that include training, support and, sometimes, research.

IMM offers recently equipped state-of-the-art Flow Cytometry, Bioimaging and Fish facilities. In addition, it is building a new Animal facility expected to be fully operational in 2010. All facilities have dedicated staff able to assist the researchers in running their experiments. The institute provides microarray and quantitative real-time PCR equipment, a room dedicated to work with radioactive substances, and a central cell bank service offering storage of frozen material in liquid nitrogen or -80ºC freezers. The IMM has an administrative infrastructure offering a vast experience of project management, fundraising and communication, which also strives to assist overseas researchers to facilitate their incorporation at IMM.
