Lab Management includes the maintenance and safety of infrastructures and equipments to ensure high standards of usability and quality, the Purchasing Office and the Washing Room. Besides managing resources, the unit also provides health and safety support for best laboratory design options.
The Purchasing Office performs all the institute acquisitions (products, services and equipments), including importation and international shipment and provides information on prices, ongoing promotions, new products and delivery conditions/requirements. In addition, it maintains a storehouse for most used consumables and supply centers for reagents.
The washing room provides researchers with clean and sterilized material, according to each research specific requirements and it is equipped for the preparation and sterilization of all types of materials and solutions.
