Instituto de Medicina Molecular
 
The mission of Instituto de Medicina Molecular (IMM) is to foster basic, clinical and translational biomedical research and innovation in this areas with the aim of contributing to a better understanding of disease mechanisms, developing novel predictive and diagnostics tests and developing new therapeutic approaches; support scientific postgraduate training of young graduates, doctors and other Health professionals; support science communication and the provision of external services in the areas of specialized diagnosis, health expertise, quality control and collaboration in national and international committees.
Located in the campus of Lisbon Medical School, the Instituto de Medicina Molecular is an Associate Laboratory of the Portuguese Ministry for Education and Science and a reference for science in Portugal.  
 



I Curso Pós-Graduado de Actualização| Boas Práticas Clínicas do Centro de Investigação do Centro Académico de Medicina de Lisboa 

O Centro de Investigação do Centro Académico de Medicina de Lisboa (CAML) está a organizar o I Curso de Boas Práticas Clínicas, que deverá realizar-se no Edifício Egas Moniz da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa nos próximos dias 22 e 23 de Maio.
O CIC-CAML é um novo Centro de Investigação Clínica do Centro Académico de Medicina de Lisboa, composto pela Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa, o Centro Hospitalar Lisboa Norte e o Instituto de Medicina Molecular.

IMM to Host EMBO Young Scientists’s Forum (YSF) on July 15-16
 
EMBO YSF is aimed at bringing together young European researchers in order to motivate and inspire them to pursue their education and career in Life Sciences. Participants will have a unique opportunity to interact with members of EMBO YIP, present their work, discuss science and get practical tips on scientific grant writing and the editorial process at EMBO Journal.
