 Applications To apply to the CAML PhD Programme you need to be part of a research unit of the Lisbon Academic Medical Centre and have secured supervision, or co-supervision, of the Thesis project by a researcher of FMUL/IMM/HSM - CHLN. » Pre-applications Would you like to do scientific research leading to a PhD? The Doctoral Programme of the Lisbon Academic Medical Centre seeks excellent and innovative applications. You can submit a Pre-application at any time, by sending us a letter of intent (stating your motivation and research interests) and a Curriculum Vitae. The Scientific Committee will help candidates find the necessary conditions for the development of their PhD projects. We believe each project is unique and therefore we propose to support candidates in a personalized way. The Doctoral Programme of the Lisbon Academic Medical Centre results from a consortium between the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL), the Institute of Molecular Medicine (IMM) and the Hospital de Santa Maria - North Lisbon Hospital Centre. The programme includes outstanding research teams, with internationally recognized researchers / teachers, who are developing scientific projects in various areas of basic research, clinical and translational. The programme includes a modular and flexible training component, which is spread over the period of doctorate, the candidate may, with the support of the supervisor, choose the modules to attend. Every year, the programme organizes a series of advanced courses for its doctoral students. These courses are also open to other participants. You can see the courses provided and sign up here.
